OHS and Quality Management Systems Auditing and Consulting
CSTC offers specialist corporate support services to Industry, Private Companies (both large and small) and Government Departments with highly qualified and experienced staff assisting these stake holders in the discharge of there legislative OH&S obligations or in compliance to their own management systems, or a combination of both.
All CSTC audits are conducted in accordance with AS 4801 and/or ISO 9001:2000 and all auditors are certified with the Quality Society of Australasia. Previous and existing clients from the construction industry who have utilised CSTC’s auditing services include Multiplex, Sunland, Rapcivic and Walters Construction, while outside of the construction industry Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME, Korea) have also utilised CSTC’s auditing service.
The CSTC also offers a consulting and safety systems development service to its corporate clients. The level of service required is determined by the client and can range from a simple review of a Safe Work Method Statement through to a ‘start from scratch’ or entire rewrite of a Workplace Health and Safety Management System and the relevant documentation including training for implementation of the new or revised safety policy and relevant management systems.
The CSTC has worked extensively not only with industry but also with the Queensland government agencies on such projects as the development of ‘Codes of Practice’ for both Tower and Mobile Cranes, develop and deliver training in formwork appreciation and inspection, OH&S Officer Training, Safety Rep Training.
The CSTC have also been actively involved in the development of training and assessment packages in a number of trade qualifications including Scaffolding, Dogging and Rigging other national training packages as members of national or state advisory committee’s.
Whenever any documents or systems are developed, the CSTC have also provided the appropriate training to both OH&S inspectors, industry and a workforce as the case may be.
