OVERVIEW

This course is intended to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to provide leadership and guidance with regard to Occupational Health and Safety. This qualification could suit an OHS officer in a full-time dedicated role who works under the supervision of an OHS Coordinator or OHS Manager.
 

WHO SHOULD ENROL?

This Certificate IV course is for people that work in an occupational Health and Safety role (such as an OHS Officer or OHS Coordinator) that are under supervision of a Safety Manager. This Certificate IV course is a pathway for committee members, safety representatives, delegates and any other person pursuing a career in safety.

DELIVERY

This qualification is delivered either face to face mode or online.
 
For the online mode, participants should have the ability to:
Use a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari to navigate the internet.
Have basic word processing skills to save, edit, store and file digital documents.
Use a search engine such as Google or Yahoo to find webpages
 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

It is preferred that students have at least a year 9 level of numeracy and literacy skills.
