FIRST AID
OVERVIEW
This course intends to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively respond to emergency situations by sustaining and/or restoring breathing and circulation to an adult, child or infant and providing first aid management in life threatening emergencies.
DELIVERY
This course is delivered and assessed throughout a one (1) day face-to-face classroom session.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Be at least 14 years of age or older (students under 14 years must provide written permission to attend the course from their parent or guardian); and
Have at least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills
