COURSE IN MANAGING NOISE IN THE WORKPLACE

Course Objective:
The aim of this training product is to provide greater knowledge of the hazards associated with noise the training provides theory and practical training in the following areas:
- Improve noise hazard identification and management in the workplace.
- liaise with employers, site supervisors and colleagues to understand and improve noise hazards identification and management in the workplace.
- liaise with superiors and colleagues to clarify remedial action to manage noise hazard/s.
- demonstrate the correct procedures for routine management of noise in the workplace.
Course Prerequisite:
Participants are advised to hold intermediate numeracy, literacy and communication skills to read and comprehend written instructions.
Course Content: Nominal Hours - 16.
This course consists of one unit and participants must achieve competency across all performance criteria as detailed in Unit Code: MNWP001attached to Unit Title; Managing Noise in the Workplace
Assessment:
Participants will be required to complete a written and practical examination to be deemed competent.
