Self Erecting Tower Crane Licenses
CSTC is proud to announce that we have become the first Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to be licensed by the QLD Department of Industrial Relations to both train and assess in Self Erecting Tower Cranes. Details of the new licensing requirements for operators of self erecting tower cranes may be found on the Department of Employment and Industrial Relations website.
The key change is that up until now, holders of a CT (Tower Crane Operator) licence have been legally able to operate a Self Erecting Tower Crane. While this law was origianlly meant to change on 01 January 2007 this date has now changed to 1st July 2007. From that date on, the CT license will no longer be accepted and the new CS license will be needed. It should also be noted that Self Erecting Tower Crane Licenses issued in other states or territories of Australia will be accepted in QLD
At present CSTC have accredited staff spread from Brisbane to Cairns who, with the greatly appreciated assistance of Morrow Equipment, are able to help with all your Self Erecting Tower Crane needs.
If you would like further information on the Self Erecting Tower cranes, whether it be training, assessing or general information, please do not hesitate to contact our Brisbane office on 07 3373 8888.
